Hi Nigel,

I hope all is well with you.

I once slept at an airport on New Years Eve waiting for a New Year's day flight. Some kind soul hacked into the coin operated TVs so they would play for free, loudly, all night. Many who could not get a taxi home after their revels came to the airport to sleep or continue partying. It was not a night I care to remember. lol.

Hi - I found your blog while doing research on Rarotonga (I'm an artist/writer/art teacher and I'm trying to see how I can relocate there, although I've never been!! - not the first time I've done something like this;-)

Anyway, I really enjoyed reading your entries and noticed in this one that you are a vegetarian, as am I, and I was wondering how you would rate Raro on ease of finding veg options (I've lived in some places - most notably Spain, and currently the island I live on in Greece - where it's surprisingly/frustratingly hard to find something to eat other than a basic salad if I go out....) I also have an allergy to eggs and gluten (ah yes, made my life so much more complicated when I discovered the true source of my stomach problems - I thought perhaps it was lactose intolerance), but anyway.... I apologize for the ramble, but would love to hear anything you have to say on the topic (or any other caveats or praise you'd have for Raro as a place to live...)

Thanks again for your blog entries and one of these days I hope to get around to reading about the other places you've been/are going.
Cheers!
